Witherite Law Group Assists Girls Inc. of South Dallas in Facility Rehab Project

This past February, much like many North Texan homes and businesses, the Girls Inc. South Dallas campus experienced extensive water damage after a pipe burst. This meant they would have to close their facilities until they could get the interior cleaned, restored, and renovated.

While the staff and volunteers helped clean up the water, additional support was needed to cover the insurance deductible and repairs. The Witherite Law Group was more than happy to help get them back up and running with a new look and significant expansion to their old space.

They were able to knock down a few walls to make more room to serve additional girls in the community. What once could only hold up to 25 participants can now hold 40, which is very significant in the added impact they will have in the community.

Currently, the programs they provide are virtual due to COVID, but they have big plans to return to in-person activities with their summer programs.

We are very excited that Girls Inc South Dallas campus is back and better than ever.
