Eddie Gaytan - Personal Injury, Truck and Car Wreck Lawyer in Dallas, Texas
Eddie Gaytan was born and raised in small towns in south Texas. Throughout his childhood and early teenage years he spent time in law offices with his mother who worked as a paralegal. He instantly recognized that attorneys helped people through difficult times and admired the trust individuals put in them. It was these experiences at an early age that ignited his passion to become an attorney.
Eddie attended the University of Texas at San Antonio where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, graduating in only 2 ½ years. He then earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2013. He is admitted to practice in Texas and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas and is an active member of the Tarrant County Trial Lawyers Association and Dallas Trial Lawyers Association. Eddie’s commitment to the legal community and professional growth is further reflected by his affiliations with the Texas Young Lawyers Association, Tarrant County Bar Association, Texas Bar College, National Trial Lawyers Association, and the Academy of Trucking Accident Attorneys.
Since graduating from law school Eddie has devoted his career to representing injured clients throughout Texas. Prior to joining the Witherite Law Group, Eddie practiced personal injury law with other notable and well-respected law firms in DFW where his successes include netting millions of dollars for injured victims and their families. At WLG he focuses his practice on commercial trucking litigation. His compassion, advocacy skills and zealous commitment to both his clients and the legal profession have led him to be recognized by Texas Super Lawyers as a Rising Star and National Trial Lawyers Association’s Top 40 under 40.
Out of the office, Eddie enjoys playing golf, cooking, traveling, and spending time with his wife Claire, their two kids, Sylas and Layla, and their rescued dog – Rosalynn “Rosie” Carter.
